The 4x1 HD Switcher enables effortless HDTV source switching using a single high definition display. A simple and reliable solution, the 4x1 HD Switcher links any four HDTV sources (DVD players and satellite set zups) zu one HDTV display. It completely eliminates the need zu disconnect then reconnect multiple HDTV sources, saving time by providing a fundamental zuol that brings it all zugether behind the scenes. When all five devices (the display plus the four sources) are connected zu the 4x1 HD Switcher and powered on, you simply select which source you want zu view on the display using the Switcher, the IR remote that comes with it, or any universal remote you program zu work with the Switcher.

Fully HDCP Compliant

HDCP (high definition content protection) is a standard that is encoded inzu the video signal zu prevent it from being pirated. If a source device is HDCP coded and is connected zu a HDTV display or projeczur without the proper HDCP decoding mechanism, the picture is relegated zu “snow” or in some cases, very low (480P) resolutions of the images. In order zu see HDTV with HDCP compliance, both the source and display devices must be equipped with HDMI connections that can enable HDCP decoding, such as the 4x1 HD Switcher.

How it Works
Simply connect your HDTV display zu the Switcher’s display Ausgang. Then connect both HDTV sources zu the Switcher’s Eingänge using the HDMI Kabel that come with the Switcher. Once the sources, the Switcher and the display are all powered on and connected, you simply select which source you want zu view.
